Hello, I am Kelsey Dadi!

Aspiring Product Manager passionate about designing improving solutions that truly meet the needs of users.

My unique background working at Target Cooperation in Workforce Management (part of Human Resources) for configuration, database management, and UI and Micro-service development, brought me product management. Utilizing these technical skills and my strong communication skills to partner with business and technology to refine and improve solutions.

My specialties are communicating with users, designers, and developers to come up with the best possible solution. Using problem solving and critical thinking to work as a team to solve any problem along the way.

My Product Skills Highlights

Agile: Always focus on business value and demos during sprint reviews, creation and refinement of stories and backlog. Contributing member of scrums teams for over eight years.

Cross Fuctional Work: Partnership with UKG Vendor, offshore, and multiple onshore teams and business partners for large upgrades to UKG. Gathering requirements across stores, DCs, and HQ for Holiday Credit and weekly maintenance of UKG system for pay, forecasting, and scheduling.

My UX Skills

Research: A/B Testing, Affinity Diagraming, Card Sorting, Persona Creation, User Interviews/Research, Usability Testing

Design: Using Figma to create wireframe prototypes of low, mid, or high fidelity getting user feedback early and often.

Front End Development: HTML, CSS, Java React, Bootstrap, and Github. Built, enhance, support multiple UIs in Workforce Management space including Attestation, Historical Corrections UI, New Location Setup UI, and Smart Timeclock UI.

My Work

Existing UI is complex and does not translate well to Mobile. Site looks outdated when compared to other pet adoption agencies in the area

Worked as a team to make desktop and mobile friendly consist clean design.

Secondhand Hounds Redesign (secondhandhounds.org)

Manual process to setup/modify/close a store involves multiple updates across multiple databases. Errors can occur that if not corrected can cause incorrect pay for team members.

Created a UI that pulls data from a location API to ensure data accuracy. Spent time Understanding what data is needed for users for displaying and the underlying updates.

Location UI Micro Front End

Government website contains a lot of data, and can be difficult for users to find specific items.

Used Card sorting to update navigation. Used Figma to create an updated design that is consistent and easier to navigate on the large site.
